There are lots of different kinds of meditation and lots of reasons why practicing meditation is really good for us. Years of meditation can actually transform the way your brain looks and works. It's a really powerful tool to use to become peaceful, positive and focused. Meditation takes practice; most of us lead very busy lives and we're not used to just resting and being rather than doing. You can meditate whilst you're walking on the trails by focusing on your breath and relaxing your mind. Alternatively it can be really nice to sit on the beach and listen to the waves, or beneath a tree hearing the leaves rustle in the wind. Have a look at these videos and give it a go.
